Anybody subscribed to New Musical Express, Uncut, or any other popular music magazine in the UK? What's the best magazine do you think?

Can't stand NME. Too far up its own arsae. I was an avid Melody Maker man until they voted The Mission best single and album (in 86 I think).
Q is great for a combination of retro/modern and they love The Beatles. Mojo's good to.

I usually buy Q and Mojo... Mostly because they often come with pretty cool free CDs.

Q and Mojo is the same thing, I mean the same production?
I saw NME I liked it, why you don't? About modern rock bands I read.

I don't like NME because it's really nasty about mainstream music - if you're not some cool young indie band then you're sh*t in their eyes.

Yeah, I agree - I have flirted with NME many times over the years but their snobbery always turns me off in the end.
