BTW I thought of you today as I was driving my daughter to a travel soccer tournament. I saw this light green convertible vintage car--had to speed up to get a better look, but finally caught the guy in a sweet Fairlane sedan that had to be from the mid-60s.
I wish. No, it means driving an hour or so away to play other teams who are a lot better than ours. My daughter's a goalie (with weak defenders) so she bears the brunt of the assault. But it's making her a better "keeper." I put on my headphones and watch the girls run up and down the field to songs from "Hello Goodbye" to "Lucifer Sam."
But the highlight was chasing down that Fairlane. I really think Marshall needs to chop the top and make his a convertible station wagon.
My wife's friends have a restored Mustang (the "Bullitt" car) and I'm getting the bug . . . I'd really love an old MG, but I guess with two kids it'd be kinda pointless.
"Articulated Lorry" sounds like a great album, song or band name.
