Heheheh...Gigwise we are hoping to have the Isle of Wight festival again, a local garlic festival but would love to get gigs further afield.

Where the theatre I'm helping is council owned, they have put in a new manager who also has not much of an idea at present what to do. While they are in limbo I'm cracking on with some demo's for my cover groups but mainly hoping to rap up the elusive first ever original album. I just wish i had Abbey rd studios & George MArtin around.

the stray cats are doing one last tour this year...brian says its been 30 years since they played together...it's an exaggeration but it does seem that long...that boy has got to have cochran blood flowing thru his veins......maybe they will do a last tour like michael jagger and the boys and tour several more years....oh and i was right...

On the website Setzer says it's 30 years since they formed. In fact his memory must be bloody awful if he can't remember playing last year!

At this point, I would like to announce The Stray Cats Farewell Tour. We will be starting mid-August in Spain. Its been 30 years since the Stray Cats formed. Isn't that hard to believe? There's no one I'd rather play with than Slim Jim and Lee Rocker. They're the best!

I would like to end the Stray Cats the way we started it. That would be with the love of playing our brand of rockabilly music.

We will be posting tour dates as they come in.

Been reading a great book on Hendrix written by McDermott & Eddie Kramer. Fascinating reading and also discovering about Brian Epstein's Saville theatre which I seemed to know little about. What a great way for throwing top parties and wind up deals at the same time.

I talked to the guy that does the booking for the most likely venue they would play here (The Grey Hall, Christiania). They tried to book them last year, but were too expensive (400,000 kr. About 37k).

^Wow! Don't think our little 600 capacity theatre or our Islands collective music taste could cope with that! lol
