There's been a rumour over the weekend has now been printed in the LIVERPOOL ECHO and should soon be available via the icLiverpool site.
The rumour is that PAUL McCARTNEY and RINGO STARR are to team up for a special show as part of the 2008 Capital Of Culture celebrations in Liverpool, but that's all it is at the moment A RUMOUR...

Paul & Ringo are together most of the time, like the Cirque event, so both of them at another thing, isn't a big deal.  You can't call it a Beatles reunion in the first place, but you can say two former members of the band.  

Ringo has said a couple of times that him and Paul won't go touring together. His exact words "Hes got his band and I got mine". That doesn't mean they won't reunite for one show though.
