It's hard to compare these two bands cuz they're so different. I used to lean more towards the Who, but now I think I'd vote for the Stones. But I already voted a while ago so oh well!

How about which band's Keith was most insane? I used to think it was Moon, but I just heard this on the news tonight:

LONDON - Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards acknowledged that he mixed his father's ashes with cocaine and that "it went down pretty well."

The 63 year old icon told British music magazine NME: "The strangest thing I've tried to snort? My father. I snorted my father. He was cremated, and I couldn't resist grinding him up with a little bit of blow. My dad wouldn't have cared."

Richards' father, Bert, passed away in 2002, he was 84.

Richards went on to warn others of his lifestyle and did not in any way endorse such behavior. Speaking further with NME he stated, "I did it because that was the way I did it. Now people think it's a way of life."


I think that may slightly more insane than anything "Moon the Loon" ever did. I think. Ick.

That is some pretty weird stuff from Richards   But I still think The Who are better than Rolling stones. I think The Rolling Stones are more Mainstream which is why some people would think they're better than The Who.

If The Stones had stopped after 'Black and Blue' it would make things easier. I think because they've become a sad caricature of themselves there's no way I could vote for them.

The Who. The Stones are great, make no mistake, but I just think The Who are overall superior. Roger is a better frontman then Mick (and that's saying something), and I enjoy Townshend's guitar style more.
