OK, you're in a pub/club (disco for some of you unreconstructed oldies.) What songs do you just HAVE to dance to. Off the top of my head, my top toe- tapping picks:

Jump Around - House of Pain
Can't Get You Out Of My Head - Kyie Minogue
Where's Your Head At - Basement Jaxx
Billie Jean - Michael Jackson
Relax - Frankie Goes To Hollywood
Saturday Night Fever - Bee Gees
Sweet Child Of Mine - GunsnRoses
Insomnia - Faithless
Smells Like Teen Spirit - Nirvanna
Crazy In Love - Beyonce

I only dance when I'm very drunk. And when I'm very drunk it doesn't matter what song is on.

I was the same. Then I went clubbing one new years day with some new friends, had my first pill (which is illegal and in no way condoned) and HELLO!!! A truly life changing moment.

I'm pretty sure that the pill that would make me enjoy clubbing and the music that they play in clubs hasn't been invented yet.

And I stay away as far as possible from synthetic drugs.

Get It On (Bang a Gong)- T-Rex
Twist and Shout- Beatles
Hollaback Girl- Gwen Stefani
Be My Baby- The Ronettes
Stop- The Spice Girls (sadly, I know all the dance moves)
Love Shack- the B-52's
Brown Sugar- The Rolling Stones

the music at my school dances really sucks, so as soon as they start playing something that isn't rap, I'm all for dancing. Even better if it's an oldie.

You're so vain, you probably think this post is about you.

We have a Motown night at one of the clubs in my Uni's city, and it's pretty amazing. Songs that make everyone go nuts include:

Twist and Shout (I get real excited about this one)
What'd I say (Ray Charles)
Anything by Jackson 5
