I couldn't agree more. But I guess I'll file it under 'wishful thinking'.

I am Sorry Mairi. I let myself get drawn in and forgot to let it go. I also forgot my own advice to ignore the post's from that someone.
Anyway, back on the subject. Do you have haunted house's real and fake, By fake in mean, you pay for someone in costume to jump out and scare you, like we do here in the states? I quit going to them when all of them started having chainsaws running all the time. Not because chainsaws scare me, it just an annoying sound and the last haunted house I went to, someone grabbed my arm, I turned around to a kid of about 8 looking up at me and through his mask I heard him say "sorry mister". I knew it was time to go.

You don't even have to wear a mask on Halloween BP, because your face is too damn ugly already.

Can I just say that I think the proper response to this would have been:

I'm rubber and you're glue! Anything I say bounces off of me and sticks to you!! Nyah nyah nyah nyah nyah nyah!!

I mean really, there could be no other response.

Sandra I used the same exact reply in another post to.....well, you know who .
Now, how about those haunted house's Mairi? Any in Nova Scotia? Does anyone have any scary stories to share about halloween, or a really cool hauted house they visited? I read on an forgotten-abandoned Ohio site that someone has bought an old Ohio poor house and turned it into one of the premiere spook hause's. It is an old gothic looking brick building, spooky by itself alone. Here's the link to the story and some cool photo's. http://www.forgottenoh.com/Nightmares/nightmares.html

I never visited a real haunted house, but when I was little, everyone in my school used to believe that the old broken-down house next to our playground was a witch's house and that ghosts live there.
My dad once met a ghost, though! Of my papa. It was a few days after he died and my dad went into the barn and he could hear my papa's voice saying "It's going to be okay..".

Hi Kate.
Blair Witch Project. Scared the bejeezers out of me and is such a brave, original horror (no blood, no monsters).
Halloween is 2nd

I think horror films are bad for the mind.

No they're not. They're fun.

Well, at least the subtile, creepy ones. Movies with ghosts appearing in mirrors or where people see the reflection of a face in the water and then turn around and see there's nobody there. Stuff like that. I can't get enough of those movies.

I really don't like those slasher, chainsaw massacre, Freddy Krueger type of movies though. I hate those.
