OK, I'm speechless right now! In its fourth week in the UK Charts the Travelling Wilburys Collection is at #2!!! So, it debuted at #1, then #2, #3 and again #2!! It's like it's gonna be #1 again the next week.   Well, that's nearly impossible but... what a staying power!! I still can't believe how this release is such a big hit around the world!!

May it be so, Wingsman. Thanks for the update; very good news.

They aren't doing quite so well on Billboard. #12 on Top Rock albums (peak of #3), #7 for internet charts (peak #1). But they're hanging in there, bless 'em!

Worldwide response was quite good. The album debuted at #1 in the United World Chart and right now is at #12. But we're talking about the hole world!! I think it's amazing!

5th week for the Traveling Wilburys Collection in the UK charts!. The album slipped down just 1 position from #2 to #3! So its chart run now is: *1*-2-3-2-3

5 weeks inside the Top 3 is a fantastic achievement, if you also consider that this week the TC Collection was the best-selling non-new release! Just look at the Top 5!!

1(NE): The Enemy - We'll Live & Die In These Towns
2(NE): Interpol - Our Love To Admire
3(2): Traveling Wilburys - Collection
4(NE): The Smashing Pumpkins - Zeitgeist
5(1): The Chemical Brothers - We Are The Night

Fantastic, isn't it! Even The Chemical Brothers, being a big act in the UK these days fell down from #1 to #5 in its second week... The Traveling Wilburys are at #3 in its fifth week
And considering that tomorrow there will be no really big releases in the UK, the TCC is predicted to be the possible #1 album for the next week.

I love your updates, Wingsman! I'll do my usual Billboard thing as well, although I would be hopeless at any analysis.

For Internet albums, the collection is holding strong:

#2 (4 weeks) Traveling Wilburys - The Traveling Wilburys Collection (last week #7)

It's also coming forward on the European Top 100 Albums list, up to #6 from #7.

For Top Rock Albums, it's now #15 (last week #12).

For Billboard comprehensive (all categories), it's in a slow slide, now #50 after 4 weeks. Still, it's in there!

In its 6th week the Traveling Wilburys Collection is still inside the Top 5, this week at #3 as the week before. The chart run so far... *1*-2-3-2-3-3. Amazing.

I'm a girl, but I'm also a geek.

The Wilburys are hanging onto the top 10 in Internet and European sales on Billboard, sinking a bit overall. Still, it's nice to see such sustained interest in the album. Their audience must be growing, don't you think? They can't all be old nostalgic buyers after several weeks, can they? Cheers.

A bummer that the book is expected to be quite expensive.

Not another bloody Genesis publication is it?
