Maybe to keep fit to carry the 40,000 pounds worth of flowers she charged to Paul , it beggers belief the amount of money she was spending . And she as the brass- neck to say she was'nt a golddigger .
Remember, this is a woman who "computes her reasonable needs for herself and Beatrice at $3,250,000 p.a." Clearly, we are all pikers in the money-spending game. What's 40,000 pounds for flowers when you "need" to spend 3 million quid a year just to keep yourself going?

I finished the 58-page document. Interesting and also disturbing.
I wouldn't mind being awarded 30,000 pounds p.a. for food, wine and flowers. I could even use it for other things. I'd say Ms. Mills came out handsomely from this whole thing. I enjoy the judge's comments where (I suppose you're allowed to do this if you're a judge) he gives his real opinion, saying that Mills made her own trouble for herself, and she'll have to get out of it (in terms of reputation, primarily). It felt "fair" to me, albeit overly generous.
What disturbed me was all the info about Sir Paul's security arrangements that is now public. Excuse me, after John and George, I really felt very uneasy about this info being released publicly. I imagine for the short term Paul had better beef up security. Did I understand incorrectly, or wasn't this information supposed to remain private? I think both Heather and Paul may have got a nasty knock seeing their private business--overspendings, assets, habits-- aired to an eager public. I just don't want this to turn into something worse than an acrimonious divorce. *crosses fingers*
And Ms. Mills is not a witch. You dressed her up like that!

Fiona Shackleton going into court with Paul and coming out .Looks very much like there was a water fight .Funny i thought Ms Mills did'nt agree with violence ?

OK, I'm just a swine (no offense intended, The Swine), but what I see is a very tense Paul walking in (w/ lawyer well coiffed), then a very relaxed Paul coming out, and his female partner looking like she just took a little shower.
Sorry, but you know it IS Paul!
I love John, I love Paul, And George and Ringo, I love them all!
I am SO GLAD that she got the 48 mill. you know Paul was nice and settled for 90 she went higher and got less. I'm glad, she got what she diserved. I mean come on, the lady married PAUL MCCARTNEY...A BEATLE, and she can't make it work. well I hope he will be happy now with his new daughter...Beatrice I think is how it's spelled.
Oh, that this too, too solid flesh would melt... Zap! My skin's soaked right through to the skin! "The Beatles will exist without us"
I agree with you harihead about your security concern a few farm workers keeping an eye out is a worry ? The other thing that i also was concerned about is , there is clear evidence of a crime in the shape of trying to obtain a loan from Paul to pay off a non existent mortgage, to me that's fraud and criminal offence in the UK , why was Ms Mills not charged with that ?

There may not be enough hard evidence. And in emotional cases like these, it's often best to let past behavior slide. What's more important is that Paul move on and put this behind him, not drag it out with case after case, keeping it alive. As for Ms. Mills, the world has been warned. If some idiot wants to fall for her scheme now, well...
