I can't help wondering at what point Paul realized her past. It might not have bothered him, as he was a randy little sucker in his youth and fairly broad-minded (oh, a pun!). But if he found it out after they started falling out, he might have felt it more as a shock.
Thanks for the report, DaveRam!

Paul was aware of Heather's glamour modelling , and in the early days as the programme showed he was ringing the newspapers and asking them to cut Heather some slack and give her a chance .
heather has enough rope now, i'm sitting back watching her swing. sooner or later we will hear something, but it won't shock us, unless she harms lil bea too. a person who really is thinking of suicide, doesnt shuffle their feet, they do it. she is a disgrace to women, handicapped people, and people with suicide on their minds. her ugliness is really inside and out. wonder if the mister ed movie is still in production, lol.

Oh that made me smile. ps I don't think saying "handicapped" is very kosher these days. They're not fair game like wrist slitting loonies. "You're a disgrace to nutters everywhere!" Fantastic.
I don't know whether to cringe at that or to become a high-class hooker.
Discuss.

McCartney Divorce Set to be Finalised Fri May 9, 2008 6:43pm BST
LONDON (Reuters) - Paul McCartney and his estranged wife Heather Mills are scheduled to return to High Court on Monday for their divorce to be formally finalised.
At the hearing before Justice Hugh Bennett, the couple are likely to be granted a divorce on the uncontested basis that they have lived apart for two years.
In March, Bennett blasted Mills, branding her evidence in a battle over her divorce pay-off as "inconsistent and inaccurate."
He ended up awarding Mills 24.3 million pounds -- a fifth of the sum she had been seeking. That still gave her the equivalent of about $34,000 (17,400 pounds) for each day of her four-year marriage to the pop icon.
In his judgment, Bennett also set a time-table for the final divorce.
He said that the former Beatle and Mills had agreed to stay their divorce proceedings until May. By then, they would have been separated for two years.
At the time he scheduled Monday's hearing, Bennett said "I hope to be able to pronounce a decree nisi of divorce."
McCartney married the former model and charity campaigner in 2002, four years after his first wife Linda died of breast cancer. They have a daughter, Beatrice.

McCartney and Mills Granted Divorce
LONDON (Reuters) - The ill-fated marriage of former Beatle Paul McCartney and his estranged wife Heather Mills came to a formal end during a 30-second hearing at London's High Court on Monday.
Justice Hugh Bennett said the petition for divorce by Mills was granted on the grounds that the couple had lived apart for two years.
Neither McCartney nor Mills were in court for the decree nisi.
Bennett said: "On the petition for divorce presented by Miss Heather Mills, I pronounce the decree nisi of divorce on the grounds of two years' separation.
"Sir Paul McCartney has consented to the decree being granted on these grounds."
The brief hearing contrasted with the protracted and bitter fight over the divorce settlement earlier this year.
In March, the judge blasted Mills, branding her evidence as "inconsistent and inaccurate."
He ended up awarding Mills 24.3 million pounds -- a fifth of the sum she had been seeking. That still gave her the equivalent of about $34,000 for each day of the four-year marriage.

Obviously some people manage their careers much better than the way I manage mine!

New Yorkers take note:
Heather Mills' US Move June 16, 2008
Heather Mills has splashed out over 2.5 million on a New York apartment.
The former model - who won 24.3 million in her divorce settlement from Beatles legend Sir Paul McCartney - will be living in the same exclusive area as fashion designer Calvin Klein and actress Nicole Kidman.
A real estate expert said: "It's a very special property. She will have important neighbours."
The apartment is in the prestigious 173 Perry Street block, designed by architect Richard Meier.
It is located in the city's West Village area and lies just half a mile from a store owned by Heather's ex-stepdaughter, fashion designer Stella McCartney.
British-born Heather will live in the apartment with her four-year-old daughter Beatrice, from her marriage to Paul.
Heather, 40, was awarded the huge divorce settlement in March after her four-year marriage to Paul, 65, broke down in 2006.
