Interesting (for me) evolution thingy.
Researches in New Mexico have found (this is serious) that tips to lapdancers who are not on the pill double when they are at their peak period of fertility. Dancers on the pill recorded no change in income.
So not only can males (despite our Fancy-Dan modern lives)  subconsciously detect a fertile woman,  it also makes our attraction levels go through the roof.
And we like to kid ourselves we've come so far.

* I've just had a second thought. Perhaps, unknowingly, a woman at the peak of her fertile period is driven by her hormones to  subtely more sexually aggressive displays.

I've just spent the weekend in Southport. I would point out that it's neither south (unless you're an eskimo) or a port (unless you're a duck.)
I avoided the two biggest attractions listed on their website - the squirrel sanctuary and the lawnmower musuem.
Did mightily enjoy two features the town fathers seem seem to have missed - watching the local police chase drug dealers down the high street and seeing how much bird sh*t you can step in when avoiding the litter on a stroll around the marina.

Sounds lovely! I'll get my rubber boots and rush down there.

I applied for and was given a Barclaycard last month and the buggers have gone and given me two free return tickets to either New York, Washington, Atlanta or Boston. Yoo hoo. So we're going to Boston in November! Can't wait - my first trip to the US mainland (I've done Hawaii a few times.)
I love american history so Lexington is a must see for me. Then I think we'll do a little drive around New England. We'll have 10 days. Any helpful hints much appreciated. Fancy a beer Matt? (or anyone else in the area?)
