Horror movies suck these days because they're mostly crap or crappy remakes like Dawn Of The Dead & Texas Chainsaw Massacre.  Great classic horror movies that are masterpieces like Dracula with Bela Legosi, Frankenstein with Boris Karloff, the original Night Of The Living Dead, The Exorcist, the original TCM & the original DOTD back in 78 is the last great horror movie.  The Halloween, Friday The 13th, Nightmare On Elm Street & Hellraiser horror movies are crap as far as I'm concerned since there's nothing campy or scary about them at all, they're just silly.  I saw the original NOTLD last week on TCM late at night last last week on this cult movie classics show commercial free & uncut & it's a horror masterpiece above anything out these days, without a doubt.  I've seen it lots of times before & this is probably my final time watching it from beginning to end because I don't need to anymore just like with Jaws & a few others.  Night Of The Living Dead is still ballsy after almost 40 years & it cracks me up that some movie critic called it a cesspool of filth way back in 68 when it was released.  Horror movies of today are nothing but crap & they will never be in the same leagues as the original Dracula & Dawn Of The Dead.

I want you, I want you so bad babe.  I want you, I want you so bad.  It's driving me mad, it's driving me mad.

Oh Wayne, don't you like anything about the modern world?
I'm not a horror buff, but I'd easily put Blair Witch Progect in my top ten favourite films.

Blair Witch Project is definately in my top 5.

It really divides opinion doesn't it? I thought it was just so clever. And it scared me shitless, without a drop of blood or monster to be seen. Magnificent film making.

Yeah, it seems like everyone either hates it or thinks it's one of the best movies ever made. It's definately the latter.

They succeeded in making piles of small rocks and childrens' handprints on a wall look like the creepiest things ever.

You can laugh, but The Sixth Sense was pretty scary to me.

Ha ha. But no, it was a clever film. The scene with the girl being poisoned by her mom sticks in my head. Unfortunately I already knew the secret when I saw it. Alien was another great horror movie (albeit with aliens, but the format was the same)

Very good movie. Especially when they're in the school and they see these dead people on top of the stairs... And that ending... I NEVER saw that coming.

I didnt really care for the Blair Witch Project that much. It just didnt scare me. I even saw part 2, but we wont dwelve into that garbage. The Halloweens were decent and I liked the Hellraiser flicks too. If you want a real laugh, watch the Texas Chainsaw Massacre pt. 2. I just saw it the other day and couldnt believe that they came out with something so bad.

sorry to be one of the ones to say it, but Blair Witch Project was laughable...that was the only movie (besides the ring) where i have actually sat there and laughed the entire time at just the whole point of it. this group of people are running around with a camera getting scared shitless over a pile of rocks...thats like a C-movie at its best

sorry, just my take on BWP
