I think a lot of people here would really like The Sounds. They're a Swedish group wo kind of sound like a mix between Blondie and The White Stripes. Their new album was released recently, but I forget what it was called. Their first album was called Living In America and the nest track on it was "Seven Days a Week".

If you like Beatle-sounding songs, check out Squires of the Subterrain and in particular their track Strawberries On Sunday. I love this track! It starts off a little like I'm Losing You by John Lennon but then goes all psychedelic in a very fine sixties style!!! Love it!

I saw them opening for Panic! At The Disco two weeks ago in Amsterdam and I really didn't like them at all. And their singer spat in the audience.
I'd like to put foward The Toy Dolls. The Toy Dolls started up during the Punk movement in the mid 70's - and tour to this day (although the line-up has radically changed) they originate from my home city Sunderland and their songs are a tongue in cheek perspective of life in the North East. Some great punk riffs! If you have time, have a listen.
Have you listened to Klaatu and Johan already Alan?
No - my bloody cousin picked up my CDs at the Sixties night and still has them in his car!! I'm gonna send the boys round if he doesn't hand them over very soon!!!!!
