thoughts? ideas?

its U2's new Best of album that features 2 never before released tracks, The Saints Are Coming w/ Green Day and Window In The Sky. both of which are in their upcoming album.

as wonderful as their "Best of" albums are, i can't see myself buying this...since a. i'll just get the album that the new songs are on, and b. i already downloaded it off zinhof.

but the Window In The Sky is a pretty good song. if this is what their new album is going to sound like, I'm intriged by it. The one they did with Green Day isn't bad. although i like the live version of it better.

Overdue for adding U2 to my collection, I should get it or another compilation.

if you're getting into U2, i suggest, besides the Best Of albums, Joshua Tree, War, Boy, Achtung Baby, All that you cant leave behind, and Vertigo

do not, under any circumstances, listen to Pop...such an abomination on human ears


but i must admit, i didnt expect U2 and green day to be good but the song is...cant really tell that Green Day is playing. i particularly like Johnny Cash and U2 playing.

They've got a 'Best Of 1980-1990' and a 'Best Of 1990-2000' CD.

greenday is an overhyped band, but The Saints Are Coming cover was good by cover standards
