One of these:

From Please Please Me:
Chains,
Boys,
A Taste Of Honey (John used to call it A Waste Of Honey)

From With The Guys:
Till There Was You,
Devil In Her Heart

From Guys For Sale:
Honey Don't

From Help!:
Act Naturally,
Dizzy Miss Lizzy

From Let It Be:
Maggie Mae

---------------

Personally: Boys, Dizzy Miss Lizzy and Maggie Mae (at least these three) are worse than Mr. Moonlight

I don't think many or any of the covers were very good. It was the only Beatles mistake (apart from breaking up) they made.

I admit it's a good one. I suggested there may be a few good ones.

Everyone included cover versions on their LPs in the early to mid 60s so I don't consider their inclusion to be a mistake. They recorded and redefined some classic tracks and sometimes even bettered the originals in my opinion - I'm thinking Twist And Shout (better than the original), Anna (not as good but still a classic recording!!), Money (better)... oh there are too many to list here!!!

Not one of my favourite either, but John Lennon's vocal on this track is just mind blowing!!!

It's all a matter of perspective. Whenever I see or listen to the track listings on albums, I just have to avoid the covers. It even seems odd to me to see covers listed. For me they could even be officially removed from the albums when they are remastered. Could seem like an odd view I know. But, I do concede that it shows where they were coming from in terms of influence. But more than any other band, it seems wrong to me that there should ever have been cover versions at all. They were the greatest and will never be bettered. And they had to sacrifice Beatles compositions to allow those covers. Beatles songs which can never be. I just think it's a real pity.

I've got it. And I appreciate the Beatles songs on it. AHDN sounds really good. And lots of Beatles humour on that album. I'll Be On My Way is nice. I can listen to it through if I don't think it's the Beatles doing those covers.

Yeah Yeah, i dunno if you've noticed but on one of the interview tracks on disc 1, they mention somewhere called Perry road in sherwood, nottingham (or something along the lines of), and my dad used to live near there, and say's he knows the road lol! Nice little fact for you there

I vaguely remember that without pulling out the album. I think the best bit is where they re-launch the end of A Hard day's Night just to show that it's really live and not just a recording. And when the compere throws a banana to Ringo. 'Have a banana Ringo - catch!'

I think they propably did that because the instrumental break actually IS from the released recording!
