i presume you mean something? george has always denied that patti was the inspiration for something. but your probably right in stating that she inspired his music.
What? Long Long Long is in my top 10!!! How underated it is!!! I think it's one of the hidden treasures of their whole catalogue! I like your taste, wingsman ...
Thank you very much It's such an amazing song... I love it specially because is such a quiet song, especially when compared to Helter Shelter which is the previous track in the White Album. The final part is pretty weird, and its curious than in the original label its written 2:38 I think, while the song lasts 3:06. I guess that was because the song actually lasts 2:38 and then what it came is not a real part of the song. The same happens with the 'take me back' part from 'Cry Baby Cry'.
I don't smoke, I don't drink, I don't eat trash... I work out hard everyday and have a healthy life. And I'm proud of it.
some people think everything george did was underrated.
That does tend to be true amongst certain people. His songwriting abilities improved greatly over the decade, and he has written some of my favourite Beatles songs.
Underrated is a word that is often overused on this forum. I'd say Long, Long, Long has been overlooked over the years. It's trouble is it's been standing in the shadow of the monster all these years.
I just want you to reassure him - talk to him, make him see the error of his ways. Then I'll hit him.
If I Needed Someone is probably his first great song. It's one of my favorites on Rubber Soul, I love it. I think it's so cool that George got better and better at songwriting on every album, eventually to the point of Something. It's one of the best love songs ever.
~Life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans~ ~Give me love, give me peace on earth~ ~All day long I'm sitting singing songs for everyone~ ~The sun is up, the sky is blue, it's beautiful and so are you~
First one? Gotta go with 'Don't Bother Me'. In that early Pop kind of way, he was still telling it as he felt it. And it's a great song. George never compromised.

All you've got to do is choose love. That's how I live it now. I learned a long time ago, I can feed the birds in my garden. I can't feed them all. -- Ringo Starr, Rolling Stone magazine, May 2007
