Girlfriend took me to see her last night. Good, if winsome guitar playing singer-songwriters banging on about relationships are your thing. Went a bit flat when she brought the band on - did a boring Love Cats cover and a pedestrian It's All Over Now.
I wasn't aware that the writer of the "8 million bicycles in Beijing" song (brilliant) is the guy who wrote the Wombles theme tune.
It was nice to be in a concert and feel young. And it finished at a sensible time.

I like her voice, I can tolerate "Nine Million Bicycles", but her last album is incredibly boring.
