There is a program on the Beatles starting right now! in the paper it's just say's it tells the beatles story.. it's called timewatch:the story of the beatles, and is on channel 2, now!
Excellent! The controversial burning records part - see Mccartney when the Journalist was asking how they thought the upcoming USA tour was going to be like ... he was laughing and said "it's going to eb fine" constantly giggling with glazed eyes ... quality!
Yeah right, when i saw that i thought it was pretty obvious he was stoned too haha! " i'm sure it will be brillaint, just you wait and see', and just laughing his head off! Nice clip, which i've never seen before.
It was good - great footage and talking heads like Tony Barrow and their various support bands. I found it all a bit sad really, seeing all that joyful youth and realising soon it will all be gone. Time has gone so fast. Some things that I didn't know (but probably known by most of you): John openly put his head in his hands and sobbed over the Jesus thing. There was palpable tension between John and Paul as early as Rubber Soul. George suffered bad stage fright Paul said to Epstein that if The Beatles didn't make it he would still give it a go solo and he would want Epstein to manage him.
Was a good show! I have kept it and will put it on tape!
There was lots of footage I hadn't seen from that! I loved all the early footage of them around the pool! I think it was the best documentary on the beatles which has been made other then anthology and dvds alike!
