Not so hot anymore, thank you. Work is piling up as the weekend is almost there. And everything's growing (kids and nature) except me. I've lost quite some weight actually. On purpose, yes.
ooh like that, could you send some cold weather over here? How did you manage to loose weight, any special diet....?
I'll see what I can do on your temperature. And I just ate less and drank a lot of water instead of beer and lemonade. Oh, the diet is coming to Germany as well, it was a big (haha!) hit over here and the author of the book with the diet is expecting it to be huge (another one!) in other countries too. The author and diet is called Sonja Bakker. And I must admit: it works. I lost 8 kilograms and I wasn't even strict.
right, I asked for it. Six weeks (!) that's good. Others won't say I am overweight, but I do. You know what women are like, eh? As for the weather, could you manage to change temperatures before I leave work in about 30 mins?
Hi Kate, nice to have you back. Been very humid over here as well. Temperature dropped down to 15 C, but the humidity went up to 91!!!
I don't go with all these diet plans. I've seen plenty of people waist money on expensive books over the years. They seem to end up fatter! I've always thought common sense is the way to go. Don't eat bread, potatoes or anything starchy, fried foods. Do eat more salad, fresh vegetables, white meat, fish. Don't drink alcohol. I've lost 6 kilos in 6 weeks. Not quite up to your standards Bobber, but I'm happy. Another 8 to go. Maybe I should write a book!
The other thing I don't do is weigh myself. People get obsessed with weighing themselves. They go on a diet on Monday, and start weighing themselves Monday afternoon. Then get depressed if they haven't lost any weight. I won't have them in the house.
One last tip, give yourself a treat now and then. Mine's a bacon sandwich every couple of weeks!
Thank you for listening to Paul's Saturday morning healthy tips show. Next week: Shirts; Are they relevent today?
I just want you to reassure him - talk to him, make him see the error of his ways. Then I'll hit him.
