Hully Gully was performed by Cliff Bennett and the Rebel Rousers.
It wasn't on the original record but was added to some later compilations by mistake.

It's in Eric Krasker's book!
Has this essential book still not been published in English?

Here's a bit about the book.

http://beatles.ncf.ca/starclubtapes.html

The Star Club is just one of the chapters in 'The Beatles Investigation of a Myth (1960 - 1962)'.
It's a very serious piece of work and Krasker is a first-class historian.

Interesting article. I think I've read enough though. Bit heavy going, and that's only a synopsis!!

I guess he says later on that it's Cliff Bennett? I only saw mention of "Kingsize" Taylor and the Dominoes in that article.

The book is nearly 400 pages long.
The chapter on the Star Club is over 50 pages long with175 footnotes!
And yes Cliff Bennett is mentioned later on.
Believe me, if Mr Krasker says it's him, then you can be 99% sure it's true.
