Here I am again. I was just thinking, why don't we make a thread where we can write what happened with the Beatles, what they did, facts related to them on this very day.
I suppose raxo is going to give me links to already existing old thread
But I'll take my chances -
In 1967 they were working on "Good Morning, Good Morning"
On 16 February 1968 Beatles flew to India to study with Maharishi Mahesh.

LOL! You can bet on it!
But not this time   ... good idea, by the way, nousha   ... GreenApple used to tell us about what they did each day ... this was about 15 months ago and just for a few days ... I su-pose he got tired   ... this thread has reminded of this one (and as Bobber, I love it too):
Compare Beatles in the same day but different year

On this day in 1967 The Beatles released:

Strawberry Fields Forever/Penny Lane

And tomorrow it will be 44 years since they recorded Please Please Me.

Always associate those songs with summer. Maybe SF would have sold more if it was blasting out of radios on a nice warm sunny day?

Of course it was you! Take a look at some of your post from October - November 2005 ... you used to began your day here remembering what you had read at DM's home page about what they did that day ...

Can any Britlanders imagine For The Benefit Of Mr. Kite being sung by an upper class toff with a posh accent and how funny it would sound?

Happy Birthday to Mr. Kite (again )

And let me add that on this day in 1975 John released "Rock n' Roll" which happened to be his last record before he left the music business for 5 years.

Oh, my... Yoko's birthday

Then, in 1964 the Beatles and Cassius Clay (Mohammed Ali) were photographied together. I think there are a lot of pictures from this session in "Beatles pics".

Right! Some here  :

Quoted from raxo
At the begining it was them the ones who wanted to punch Cassius Clay ...
... but he asked for some time to prepare himself...

... then it was him who threatened them ..

... and he began to train with his right hand ...

... and here's his left hand too (trick) ..

... and we already knew how it all was going to end   ...

After this I understand that he changed his name to Muhammad Ali

Only solo information on this day - two Paul releases in '71 and '72 and bad news about George - in 1981 he was ordered to pay ABKCO Music the sum of $587,000 for "subconscious plagiarism" between his song, "My Sweet Lord" and the Chiffons "He's So Fine." And in 2002 his former brother-in-law Carl Roles was barred from selling Beatle's memorabilia. He was accused of stealing boxes of clothing, records and other memorabilia from Harrison's Los Angeles home in the 1970's. This person attempted to sell the items the day after George died!

Obviously
I have to find this book and buy it someday. I don't even know if it still possible. Living in Bulgaria makes one's life harder sometimes.
