Stills was technically amazing. But Neil managed to get so much emotion out of his songs, I enjoyed listening to him more. It's not how fast you play, it's how you play it. [...]
I never liked Stills much on electric. But, on acoustic, Stills is cool! Young is a better electric guitarist than Stills.
^ I liked the waterboys but not seriously into them ,but talking heads they even took a dive As for the pixies only got into them after watching fight club Saw the breeders a few years ago they did a great version of buffy the vampire slayer theme tune. Best guitarist has to be NEIL YOUNG how good is HURRICANE every time i hear it it gets better and better

I adored Neil but the first time I heard him was on hearing Hurricane on the radio, and I thought it was the most out of tune sloppy record I'd ever heard. But therein of course lays its genius.
The first time i heard HURRICANE was at the UMIST rock disco 1979 ish it was nearly always the last song of the night , a full throttle headbang would happen and a mean air guitar to be had

Ain't harmony so damn boring? My girlfriend constantly berates me for my annoying habit of disagreeing with just about everybody about just about everything.
The only thing that annoys me about CSN(Y) is the sheer infrequency with which they got together over the, I mean, DECADES, for studio albums! Only 5 CSN albums, only 3 CSNY albums. Crosby/Nash was mostly poor stuff (4 albums, haven't heard the recent one though). Stills-Young Band's Long May You Run showed hardly any co-operation between the two. A number of the solo albums are very good of course, but so little co-operation for such a legendary outfit. What a pity!

Don't Stills and Young have a bit of a post '70 Lennon-McCartney type relationship? Love that bit in The Simpsons when drunkard Barney tells Crosby he's his hero. Crosby: "Oh you like my music?" Barney:"You're a musician?"
Did`nt CHARLES MANSON also try to join the monkees
Imagine STILLS ,JONES ,TORK and MANSON
Now that would have been a TV show! And I bet Charlie's mum said "Charlie, what did I tell you about getting swastika tattoos on your forehead?" Or did he get that done for his Mouseketeers audition?
Stephen Stills auditioned for The Monkees but was rejected because of his bad teeth.
I saw that recently on the net. Incredible. Didn't know about the bad teeth though. Wasn't rejected for having good talent then!? Could have changed something if it had happened...don't know what!

Seems that way. On the front cover of the recent Neil Young compilation album, next to Young playing guitar is a guitar case with Stills Bass written on it. Seems that Neil wanted to say something.
