Even with a murdered coach and NZ doing so well the whole thing seems deadly dull. I think they should have played 2 matches a day during the super 8's. The crowds seem a bit thin too. Too far to travel or local apathy?
During the NZ/Bangladesh game I heard the commentators talk about "power plays." I've never heard this in a cricket context before. It's becoming more like baseball everyday. To what do they allude?

The whole thing goes on for a ridiculously long time. The set up has definatley backfired. I thought once we were in the Super 8's the crowds would start showing up, but it's so expensive, and so far to travel from match to match. And you can't expect tourists to be out there for 6 or 7 weeks!
