excellent buy! I remember when I was getting into the Beatles, I was considering not allowing myself to buy or listen to some of their albums for ages so I could spread out the thrill of finding new songs by them over my life haha! That plan kind of failed cos now I have them all but I find you can listen to songs again and again and their meaning and feeling can change for you- i could never get bored!

sorry bit off topic! But enjoy and treasure them!

But every so often you come across something truly inspiring...

Hey--
I remeber when I had every Beatles & solo & boot possable!

Then it hit me--I had some films--about 18 hours at the time in 64!

I set forth to get a new path!

I sold my compleat collection & the endevor came out as the most sought after collection for all times!

I am happy that there are those who realy love the records!

I had some of my beatles on Lp-45-cassette & the awefull 8 track!

The best were the reeel to reel!

I kept the best audio Like the Hamburge concert with 32 tracks off the master reels---BBC Masters for the BBC Recorings(these have top quality)

All my audio has been converted to dvd as--dvd has a better laser & better sound!

I don't care what the cd claims!
Blue ray & high def on dvd are far better!

The sound to this day of the Silver beatles is outstanding in full seround high def!

I'm just sitting here --watching the wheels go round!
I realy love to watch them roll!

Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band
Magical Mystery Tour

4:
White Album

5:
Yellow Submarine
Abbey Road
Let It Be
Past Masters Volume One
Past Masters Volume Two
Anthology 1

6:
Anthology 2
Anthology 3
Yellow Submarine Songtrack

7:
Let It Be...Naked

I somewhat regret buying them so fast, but what do you do when you're addicted. I also think that the albums I bought together belongs to eachother in some way, anyone feeling the same?

I did more or less the same   ... and when I bought Rubber Soul and Revolver together I thought what George said on Anthology some years later: side A and side B? But with the time you can see that the first one is more acoustic and less experimental and so ...

Don't forget to buy the Live at the BBC album. This really gives an insight as to how great they were performing live and opens your ears as to their pre beatlemania stage repertoir as well as their tremendous versatility covering many styles from plain rock, to motown, blues, and country.

A fan is someone who loves the music of The Beatles. They don't have to have a detailed knowledge of the guys - such as in the case of myself. But, being here I learn more and have a needed good time.

Ok let me put it like this easy for you to understnd--
sincce the 1st was too hard.

A groupie just buys things & knows squat.

A fan puts time-effort-dedication-ect!

Is that easy to understand?

Easy, but false. A fan loves the music of The Beatles. I can't see anyone 'just buying' CDs they don't want.

Thats part of what I said--I can't lsit every detail that requires or a fan or it would take 5 pages.

A groupie is a short thing that passes & complains alot.

First of all Djinn, you made a wild statement. Not the first. Seecondly, do not insult my inteligence with your senseless, uninformed rants.

The guy made a post about the albums he's bought, and you try to put him down and say he's not a real fan. We try to encourage people to stay on this board, and you're going to scare them away!

Now, now Djinn...We have had members who have berated others before....they tend not to last too long around here. This forum is for all Beatle fans, not elite-ists. I think Lennon would have wanted it that way imo.

If life was that simple maybe but it's not and I find your tone patronising. Groupies tend to hang around the back of stages. A fan encompasses a broad spectrum of enjoying The Beatles.

Your quick to correct others when you have plenty of your own statements reading wrong. Maybe it's best just to calm it down a bit or find another forum to join? People have tried to welcome you. It's a shame because you have a lot of knowledge and memories of Beatles.

I don't like to get involved but it is getting to a point now Djinn.

Hey I though this thing with the fans & groulpies was already done!
Bobber brought it up on post 23 & showed it was from the past.

I already moved on to the main topic--
why is this still going on about fans & groupies.
No 2 people are going to agree on it & I am calm.
