The next thing you're going to tell us is that Paul is dead. I guess you have a copy of Etcetera? And did John ever tell you who sang the 'aaaaah's' in A Day In The Life?

Sorry to disagree, but Paul DID NOT play drums on any of their early recordings. Andy White only appeared on two tracks - Love Me Do (LP version) and PS I Love You. At the time they recorded their first two albums they didn't even have 4-track recorders in the studio, they only had two tracks, so the songs were recorded live with vocals on one track and instruments on the other. If you listen to the out-takes from the Please Please Me album sessions you can hear FOUR musicians playing simultaneously - I don't think Paul was talented enough to be able to play bass and hold down a very decent 4/4 rhythm while Ringo played chess (or more likely drafts, as he didn't learn to play chess until the the Sgt Pepper sessions!).
Ringo did not play on alot of the tracks when he joined!
You didn't say later times, you said "when he joined" - and Ringo DID play on all but two tracks and it wasn't Paul who replaced him it was Andy White.
So for theose who like Paul--He drummed alot of the songs!
Paul played drums on only a handful of Beatle tracks. Yes, he could play drums, it is a well-known fact - I didn't say he couldn't, I said he didn't play drums at the time Ringo joined the band.
