A couple of images in the German Sgt. Pepper thread promted me to do a little research. Two of the pics that Raxo posted are almost certainly fakes. I would be suprised if they could have been comped together so well in 1967.
So I found a site with the Sgt. Pepper photoshoot pics, and there seem to be a total of four pics. See what you make of these:
In the second picture John, George, and Ringo are all in exactly the same position. Paul is now playing bass instead of trombone. His body and arms have moved but his head is in the identical position.
In the third picture once again only Paul has moved. His head remains in the same position, but his body has changed as he is now playing his bass.
In the fourth picture George and John are now standing playing guitars, Pauls head has lifted up to face the camera, otherwise he's identical. Ringo is once again in exactly the same position.
I've overlayed these in Photoshop, and they've definately been comped on computer. No way that they're original.
What do you think?
I just want you to reassure him - talk to him, make him see the error of his ways. Then I'll hit him.
Yep. Don't remember seeing all of those in there though.
I've chosen the ones you've posted, and in the same order, to let people see them in high quality ...
I think you are right ... thoses poses are not very natural to keep them exactly the same till Paul or John changed theirs and all ... spicealley George's (who appears in all of them too ... with a trumpet, OF COURSE!!! ) http://dmbeatles.com/forums/b-harrison/m-1137868316/s-120/

Oh I know I'm right! I overlayed them in Photoshop, and there is not difference. That is, nobody could keep exactly the same position for even the smallest amount of time! These are much later images.

Were they all wearing the Pepper uniforms in that? I seem to remember Lennon wearing a white jacket. And no mustache? Or does my (admitedly dodgy) memory play tricks?

They did both, BM! In the video, they wear Pepper uniforms for the first part, regular mod 60s dress for the daft dancing at the end.
All you've got to do is choose love. That's how I live it now. I learned a long time ago, I can feed the birds in my garden. I can't feed them all. -- Ringo Starr, Rolling Stone magazine, May 2007

Yeah, it's all a clever fake. I admit I was taken in at first. John and George are from Hello Goodbye.John's head has been stuck on because in the clip he didn't have glasses or a moustache.Maybe George's head has been stuck on too!

I don't remember Paul with moustache in Hello Goodbye videoclip either ...
