It was a long while ago ... and I remember being surprized by the sound quality and atmosphere ... Welcome to the forums, Beatlemania ... hope you'll enjoy them!

I first heard them a couple years ago with my dad. He bought me the Ed Sullivan Show dvd, and said that he was my age (I was 11 at the time) when he first saw them. I was overcome with a felling of joy; their music made me want to stand up and dance. Even now, I get an exited felling when I hear any of their songs, I can't get that feeling with any of the music nowadays though.....
Your so right "Tara the beatle freak", nothing matches or sounds exciting has that now! I first discovered them listening to Sgt Pepper when i was about 9 (i think) and coundn't believe what i was missing! the first time you haer a beatles record is like falling in love isn't it? It's the most amazing feeling ever listening to a fabs record!!
It's been a Hard Days Night & i've been working like a dog!
I was 10 and staying at my Grandparents from Oct.'63- March '64 and my 16 year old Aunt was just starting to buy Beatles records. She had She Loves You and From Me to You when I first moved in and played them day and night. These were the first songs I'd ever heard by The Beatles.
Just as i said in the other thread, I wasn't much into them. My mom sort of put AHDN on and we listened to it. I thought they were ok but not I wasnt like "HOLLY WOW!!!!!". And then we (my sister and i) began to listen to their cds more and more and we bought the "1" cd and thats how it started. So, thanks mom!
