I never understood how anybody could have believed this... I think if it was true... people would have found out by now... You can't duplicate his talent either... that is the biggest thing... no one can even try to duplicate the music ability Paul has...
All those clues were just thought up by stupid people with too much time on there hands... quite frankly i doubt the beatles knew they were doing have the stuff that became "clues"
i think they started to have fun with it though near the end... becuase of the line in glass onion...

John did take the piss a bit in How Do You Sleep when he sang , 'they was right when they said you was dead'. John did say the hoax was ridicolus & he didn't know who started it. Some ridicolous American DJ i assume!
It's been a Hard Days Night & i've been working like a dog!
ya but that meant that paul wasn't the same not that he was actually dead... i think... well anyways amazing guitar by george in that song one of myfav. JL songs...
he also looks exactlythe same in all those pics that KHAN posted....
seriously this whole HOAX makes me disgusted!
Oh... and as part of the hoax story they said the "guy" got plastic surgery... ok... that was what 1967.... and you expect us to believe that they made some guy look exactly like paull mccartney when they couldn't even do it that good today...
this whole hoax is a bunch of bologna and a pain in my a$$!!!

Ridiculous American college students, actually, but the ridiculous American DJ helped spread it. But you know, it's the job of college students to do stuff like this. It just shows how silly the world can be for jumping on the bandwagon, particularly given these "clues".
Great picture, KHAN. Cheers.

Yeah, I'm sure there's people out there that still believe he's dead. That's just crazy. Just some rumor started by a college student or whatever, and people believed it. People will believe anything. People definitly read more into what was really there. Like on the foldout picture on the Sgt.Pepper album cover, Paul is wearing a patch that says "OPD". It really means Ontario Police Department, but what did people think it meant? "Officially Pronounced Dead"! That's ridiculous! The Beatles weren't involved with all of those obscure things, but I think later on they had some fun with it. Like in song lyrics and stuff, and I think that's really funny. People actually believed the "Turn me on, dead man" or "I buried Paul" stuff, and took it seriously. That was just the Beatles messing with people! Can't believe some people can't figure that one out, the whole hoax became a joke in a way. Oh well...
How can you find someone to copy Paul that closely? I don't think anyone can be that good-looking and at the same time have a wonderful voice and play left-handed bass and write great songs. Plus have the same personality, it would be way too much of a coincidence. Can't believe people fell for that.

In fact, the patch reads "OPP" which stands for Ontario Provincial Police.
