Sorry to sound a bot thick but what does "jam" and "Im digging from it" mean?
I'm old, but I have my one good ear to the street.(and I occassionaly watch American Idol) I think: Jam = favourite I'm digging it from it = especially enjoying.
Sounds like what it is to me - a vocal track played backwards. Though it is fun guessing what he could be saying. Just because I'm bored - you say John is the only person who can record backwards and sound like he's saying something. Who else have you heard backwards that DIDN'T sound like they were making words? I love the song by the way, may be my favourite Beatle track.
Yeah sorry - was a bit. Didn't mean to be. It wasn't so much that it can't sound like something backwards, just that I don't think John is the only person who could do it. I need to calm down.
OK, at a loose end so I took that section of the song and flipped it on the computer, and guess what? Lennon is singing: If the rain comes, They run and hide their heads.
Far out man They really planned all that backwards stuff, didn't they
I just want you to reassure him - talk to him, make him see the error of his ways. Then I'll hit him.
