I don't think people hate Ringo, it's just that he isn't everyone's favorite for some reason. But if someone doesn't like him (I'm not talking about anyone on this forum, of course!), I can't see why they don't! I love Ringo to pieces, he's the kind of person who can be a great friend whether he's famous or not. He's extremely funny, charming, a great drummer, has a great smile, and he's cute! A lot of the girls loved him in the early days because of that adorable look on his face!

Nobody hates Ringo.  That's bullshit.  He has never caused controversy, tossed mess on anyone-spoilt child under oath notwithstanding, which was how he felt at the time, but Macca deserved it--or kicked up any sand. He maintains and is a benevolent wonderful soul (I'm sure he can be an a** in private, but so are all of us, though we do are darndest).  He's a nice drummer.
