NEW MOON was released yesterday in Britain, and from what i've heard is brilliant. I know Alan is a big fan (maybe he has it already?), and i'll surely be getting this as soon as i can. Even though he died almost 4 years ago, this ablum of unreleased songs from his 94-97 period was just released!

Anyone else heard this?

It's (obviously) very much in the vein of his first three albums. Not really my thing, I've always prefered his Dreamworks albums. Most songs have just acoustic guitar and double tracked vocals. Haven't heard too many gems on it yet, but maybe that's just me... Or maybe it just has to grow on me.

Oh, and I read somewhere that there will be an Elliott Smith photo books out soon which will have a CD with 5 more unreleased songs.
