I came across a rather nice little George video- a load of relevant clips of him from across the years put to the song 'any road'

http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual&videoID=1878900406

In it, there are some clips of him performing solo live (they are brief and distributed throughout the video- sorry to be difficult!)...

1) Where he is wearing a bright yellow indiany top and playing an acoustic guitar
2) Where he is wearing blue dungarees and a bright yellow shirt with a black fender strat
3) He is wearing a dark shirt and playing a brown and white fender strat
A clip from the same concert is shown later in the vid and he is playing a gibson instead

In all of the concert clips he is standing on stage playing the stated guitar, looking pretty young- I would say he looks like he did in the 'let it be' footage- same hair and stuff

So my question is where and when are each of the clips from? and then is there more footage available from those concerts?

I'm not sure whether this is obvious or obscure, but any help will be most appreciated!

His look seems to fit with mid-70s ... I would say that the footage comes from his USA tour (1974) ... Rare footage but surely there are some DVDs in the internet ...

ahh ok thanks so much!

It's a pity there isn't more footage of George live from the early-mid seventies

That might be because he hardly did any live concerts.

The first lot of live footage is from his '74 US tour. Then their's a clip with Jeffe Lynne, presumably a Wilbury's thing. Then their's a clip from Concert for Bangladesh.

I just want you to reassure him - talk to him, make him see the error of his ways. Then I'll hit him.
