Ringo will always be a Starr to me for Producing and Directing THE 1972 ( Apple Film ) Born To Boogie.
Staring Marc Bolan & T.rex ,Elton John and himself.
It's the only recorded concert footage we have of Bolan and the original T.rex .
And as a mega fan of Bolan and T.rex i will always be greatful to Ringo for capturing Bolan and T.rex at their peak at the famous Wembly Pool Concert on the 18th March 1972.
For me it's one of the great 70's rock documentaries and shows Ringo had some talent for directing .
It's a film well worth seeing ,even if it is a bit naff in places
What do people know of this film ???
The Mad Hatter's Tea Party scene was shot at Lennon's Tittenhurst Park Mansion At Ascott  and it looks simpley wonderful it as the great Geoffery Bayldon (Catweazle ) serving Marc Bolan ,Mickey Finn ,Ringo and a load of nuns Beefburgers ,while Toni Viscontie conducts a string quartet .
