Thanks for getting dressed up, DaveRam. The tie is awesome!
Kevin, BlueMeanie, I think you're seriously onto something here. If you tried to market your products, I'm sure you'd find an instant audience!
All you've got to do is choose love. That's how I live it now. I learned a long time ago, I can feed the birds in my garden. I can't feed them all. -- Ringo Starr, Rolling Stone magazine, May 2007
For all I know, Ringo might be a yogi disguised as a drummer! - George Harrison
Very few. I don't like buying band clothes. I have a t-shirt with Lennon's face on it in black and white, and I took a white shirt and wrote in black on it "It's not that we're disinterested in politics, it's just that politicians are disinteresting" on it before I went out to a club in Milwaukee.
This crippling of individuals I consider the worst evil of Capitalism. Albert Einstein, "Why Socialism?" 1949
I must admit I've been tempted a number of times to buy stuff, but I'm just really not a big memorabillia person.
If I bought any Beatles clothes, it would be slightly more subtle things- I just like stuff like that. And I quite like having my appreciation of the Beatles as something people find out about as they get to know me (doesn't take long to realise I'm obsessed- the amount I talk about them!), rather than a complete in your face thing More interesting that way
But every so often you come across something truly inspiring...
