Summer of Love anniversary is this year. I was thinking about this earlier. What are/ were your favorite bands for '67?

You mean bands that were part of / took part in the Summer of Love, were part of the hippie counterculture or that had an album in this year?

I was 9 at the time, but I don't remember much happening in the UK.  It was more of an American thing really. Haight-Ashbury and the Monterey Pop Festival, and all that. My favourite album of 1967 has to be Floyds' Piper At The Gates Of Dawn.

I just want you to reassure him - talk to him, make him see the error of his ways. Then I'll hit him.

Well then, I like:

Sgt. Pepper & MMT

Piper At The Gates Of Dawn, of course

Grateful Dead by Grateful Dead

Brighten the Corner - Ella Fitzgerald
Aretha Arrives - Aretha Franklin
Are You Experienced? - The Jimi Hendrix Experience
Little Games - The Yardbirds
Bee Gees 1st - The Bee Gees
Procol Harum - Procol Harum
David Bowie - David Bowie
Ten Years After - Ten Years After

And also some Rolling Stones, Shadows, some jazz...
