well, I don't feel I can call myself a 'fan' because I don't own vast amounts of her music   HOWEVER what I know and have heard of her music is really good stuff! So why do people get into her? Hmmm the unique and rather extraordinary voice? The wild staring eyes? The artistic and creative vibe she radiates?

Kate is Kate Bush   solo female singer- and a very good one too! I have been meaning to discover more of her music. I probably should! Hey DSL you might quite like her too

I only know a bit about her so I'm learning! I do know about how David Gilmour (of Pink Floyd) recommended her and played guitar on wuthering heights though

She was one of the first artist who corrigraphed her songs on stage , with a wireless mike, a bit like madonna does today

Yeh GILMOUR discovered her an  told EMI about her and gave her a recording contract at a tender age of 16 [ish]
and recorded A KICK INSIDE  and was a num. 1 in england and WITHURING HEIGHTS WAS A NUM 1 SINGLE

no no not at all- it's interesting indeed! Wow young age to start fame- yet she didn't 'go funny' did she? So many of these young stars tend to suffer from it later in life (Britney Spears/Michael Jackson etc.)

well acutley she is a very private person , she only toured once in 79 , and i missed it  
After a few albums recorded at abbey rd, she had a studio at her home and recorded at erm.... home
