Who were bigger stoners?

So who was? This isn't for a joke, I am just wondering how big of a stoners were the Beatles. Were they the biggest stoners of their time, ever? I hear and read stories of them now I want peoples opinions or facts on how big a Pot Heads they were!!?

oh my gosh... of course I know they were actors but they still got high. duh!!!

anyway sorry for saying facts, who knows maybe their are some facts out their. I did ask for your opinion. I am just wondering how big of Pot Heads these dudes were.

I think they freely admit to being very stoned a lot from 1965 onwards.

But it got me thinking: who were the most violent baddest head hitting dudes in the whole world ever: Tom and Gerry or The Kray Twins?

How exactly are Cheech Marin and Tommy Chong not 'real?'  Yeah they were in movies (just like the Beatles), and yeah, they liked to roll up a doobie (just like the Beatles), in fact Chong had some legal difficulties in the last few years because of his ownership of paraphernalia (bongs and such).

I think they might be able to lay claim to being the biggest stoners ever, who lived . Probably the ones that killed themselves were bigger stoners (Brian Jones, Jim Morrison, Janis Joplin).

Although, now thinking about it a bit more, the surviving Stones might lay claim to that "crown".

What I've never been able to figure out is how the Beatles could be so darn productive while being wasted so much of the time. This even goes back to their Hard Day's Night period, they were partying (drink/women) all night long, then coming in and filming, touring, AND writing some of their best material ever.

How in the world?

Ever hear the Dave's Not Here thing? Only the biggest stoners in the world could come up with that.

When you say stoners though you're talking about smoking reefer. Not being a heroin addict or alcoholic. Morrison, Joplin, etc. definitely have them beat in that area. I think Bob Dylan was a pretty big stoner though. Maybe not the biggest, but definitely up there with the best of them.

I watched an interview with either Cheech or Chong I can't remember now which one, and they asked him, did you really get stoned all the time.  And they said that they didn't always do comedy about pot, but when they would throw in a joke or two about pot, they got the most laughs.  So it evolved into  that kind of comedy.  And they said yes they did their fair share of getting stoned.  

Who was the biggest stoners... I have no clue.
