I was looking through the 100 Beatle Sites and came across a thread for a 'new' beatle movie.... it is called nowhere man....

I don't know that much about it butif you want to check it out follow the link below:

I have mixed feeling about the movie... what is a Beatles movie without The Beatles... And who is going to play them? I just think Beatle movies with the actual beatles as characters should be left alone.... but as i said before mixed feelings.....

The story sounds like it could be quite interesting. Of course, it's dated now, because how will you bring all four Fabs together when Harrison is gone, too? Anyway, it sounded like an interesting premise and could be a nice tribute. Cheers.

That's exactly what I was thinking....the only way now is of course actors... but I don't think many Beatle fans will appreciate that...

I think it depends on how it's done. Take Lord of the Rings, for example. Some people who loved the book hated the movies; others loved them. You can't please all the people all the time. But if they've got a good story and treat the Beatles with respect (as opposed to exploiting them) it could be a fun time for many people... and could introduce more people to this amazing group.

Are you seeing that movie (I forget it's name) that has a lot of Beatles music in it? "Across the Universe" I think. It should be enjoyable just for the songs!

You know it is funny you should ask because my friend just showed me a preview to it, she saw it on one of her DVDs. I don't know probably not, they aren't even The Beatles singing them. And I just don't like other people singing Beatle songs..... and it doesn't have anything to do with them either so, I didn't really like what I saw...

But I agree with you, i feel if they want to make this movie the Beatle image should be protected and not destroyed...
