As it's my birthday soon-ish, I wanted to add the Travelling Wilburys box-set to my birthday list. I would prefer the Ltd Edition deluxe version (of course!) but have been astounded at the price differences:

For example, on here it is 74.95 GBP:

But on here it is 29.99 GBP - but says it is a US import:
http://www.hmv.co.uk/hmvweb/displayProductDetails.do?ctx=280;-1;-1;-1&sku=667522

So what's the difference?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

It's also my birthday soon, and this is top of the list that I casually left poking out of Mrs BM's handbag. I don't think there's any difference in them. I remember when it came out they were amazed at how fast the limited edition sold, and I think they said they were going to produce more. The prices on Play and Amazon are all for private sellers who charge whatever they can get. HMV obviously still have a few left in stock.


I just want you to reassure him - talk to him, make him see the error of his ways. Then I'll hit him.

The difference in price may be just what is included...original liner notes are included in the first but not the second....

I have to say though...bought it the day it came out here...amazing....

Good news that Rhino is producing more! Their first 50,000 Deluxe editions went immediately. I'm still waiting for them to reprint so I can get mine. Cheers.
