When Lennon died, the entire world listened to Imagine many times again because its message and because the terrible way that John died, and because he was really young at the time (and also just coming back after a 5-year break). When George died was really predestined, many people already knew before his dead that he was in trouble and his final was really coming. But if Paul dies at 90, for example, what we're gonna hear about him? He doesn't have any real 'signature' song as a solo artist, so surely we'll hear 'Yesterday', 'Let It Be', all those classic Beatle tunes.
I don't smoke, I don't drink, I don't eat trash... I work out hard everyday and have a healthy life. And I'm proud of it.
yesterday seems like a good candidate and it could technically be called a solo song even though it was under the beatles and credited to himself and lennon, also my sweet lord could easily have been a beatles track like wise with imagine
When Paul is remebered with history and music, they will flash through the years and have Ed Sullivan video and a chronology through his life, most likely with 'Yesterday', 'My Love' through the Linda years, 'Band on the Run' through the great Mullet years, and some of the later stuff for the "What he had done the past years" kind of mess. I think that 'Maybe I'm Amazed' will be the one that brings it back to the minions (though us Maccaphiles will know better).
What time does the Bus leave?

"Wings IV introduced Jimmy McCulloch, a spunky lead guitarist with grit, able to spur Paul on unlike any previous soloist. His debut track, the magnificent single `Junior's Farm', stands as one of Wings' finest emotional and technical releases."
"Few people on this planet know as much about Jimmy's musical history than you."
"I'm Joe English and I'm from Glasgow, Scotland." xD
I was listening to Carleen Anderson's version of " Maybe I'm Amazed " last night , she had a UK # 24 hit with it in 1998 , Paul Weller play's guitar on it , it's a great version , i know ive heard Petula Clark do it ,but who else as coverd it ?
Yesterday will always be associated with him. I think when the day comes and he is gone, this will be the one. I also agree with 834 'My Love' will be in there for his years with Linda. For me personally it would be 'Live and Let Die'.
"Dont take life seriously, you'll never get out of it alive"
solo wise, i'm not sure. he's written so many classics in my opinion. But i agree that 'Yesterday' will be the song everybody will remember him by i think, 'It's too well known'
HAPPY 40TH BIRTHDAY TO THE WHITE ALBUM! you say its your birthday!
i can picture it as yesterday, on the day he dies i reckon some show like gmtv will show a montage with him through the beatles years to present day with yesterday in the background.
It'llprobably be a slow one, maybe here, there and everywhere, maybe im amazed, let it be.
