This one I'm not wild about; I think of the five I made up, it's by far the weakest.  There are highlights like "Photograph," "My Love" and a personal favorite, "Oh Yoko," but it doesn't hang together well.  I chalk it up to, in my fantasy world, Lennon insisting on it being recorded in New York City and wanting to name it that.

Hope you enjoy.

New York City (Released August 1972)

Side 1
Live And Let Die
It’s So Hard
Hi Hi Hi
Jealous Guy
Apple Scruffs
Woman Is The black person Of The World
Bangla Desh

Side 2
Oh Yoko!
Too Many People
New York City
My Love
Photograph
Happy Xmas (War Is Over)

Ooh. You're right, I'm not wild about it either. For one thing, Lennon has become politically correct.   I would look up some different songs, except I'm on deadline!

Thanks for starting the conversation.

All you've got to do is choose love.  That's how I live it now.  I learned a long time ago, I can feed the birds in my garden.  I can't feed them all. -- Ringo Starr, Rolling Stone magazine, May 2007

Haha, yeah "this happened once before" , apparently it's the "system" that's being nice-and-PC... automatically!

Hmm... on this album, I quite like Photograph, Live and Let Die and Jealous Guy (andI don't really like My Love... but I'm probably not allowed to say that, K_E won't be pleased!  ). Looking forward to seeing your other albums, walrus_21

I'd ask my friends to come and see... an Octopus's Garden with me ^___^

This is the best album I think.

I would have left off Happy Xmas because it is just too seasonal. It would have been their Christmas #1 single though.

Michelle,

Yeah, you're probably right on "Happy XMas."  Given that I have an August release date, that would look kind of silly.  Gonna have to rework that one.  Any suggestions for a Lennon song?

I answered this one first, so I'll say thanks here for giving it some thought.  Nice to get feedback.  peace
