Seems there are more and more commercials that have offshoots of Beatles songs. Latest Horror (just heard it on TV 2 seconds ago): 'All You Need Is Luvs' - a flippin' diaper commercial. Aaargh.

Don't even get on this topic! And it isn't even The Beatles singing them! It should be a law, don't use Beatle songs if they aren't singing them. It gets me so mad, I have never heard a good cover, because you can't top the betles....i'm...i am just mad now

Four Lads Who Stole the World's Heart and Never Gave it Back
if the beatles owned them they wouldn't be using them...they should have hung onto them...bought out maclen music....it is a twisted turn of the screw tho...during their career as beatles there never was a commerical push for any merchandise of any type using their music...
I've heard From Me To You and Hello Goodbye on commercials before. But, unfortunately, it of course wasn't them singing. I got excited, but it ticks me off that it isn't the Beatles singing. The people that cover them make the song sound not as good as it really is, it's annoying.
~Life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans~ ~Give me love, give me peace on earth~ ~All day long I'm sitting singing songs for everyone~ ~The sun is up, the sky is blue, it's beautiful and so are you~
I heard Paul gets the songs soon, something legally, they just go back to him....
I think the copyrights come up soon. If it wasn't for Yoko stalling, thinking $50 million was too much for the rights, it wouldn't be an issue. That was in what? '82? Now they are valued at over $500 million or somewhere in that ballpark.

It's generally too expensive to use original Beatles songs in TV programmes and commercials. They charge a fortune, which is why you get to hear covers, or pastiches of The Beatles. If you've ever watched the British series 'Heartbeat' you'll get the picture. It's been going for about 15 years, and is set in the sixties, so that all the music is from that period. but you rarely hear a Beatles song.
I just want you to reassure him - talk to him, make him see the error of his ways. Then I'll hit him.
Ah, their has been, for whatever reason, a surge of commercials using 60's music. I think I heard the 13th Floor Elevators first, then the Stones with I'm Free, then From Me to You in a Target commercial. I'm hating it.
Picture Book from the Kinks started this off last year! Now it's all 60's everywhere. Sell outs! But I think it may be turning the music on to new people so maybe it's okay. Not the Beatle covers though. That's just so wrong.
I can't stand when they put Beatles songs on those commercials, I listen to the Beatles music so i can hear The Beatles! not some new retro chick singing it all wrong!
I want to punch Jackson in the face whenever I see a commerical with a lame Beatles cover in it...but if I punched him, his nose would fall off
"Wings IV introduced Jimmy McCulloch, a spunky lead guitarist with grit, able to spur Paul on unlike any previous soloist. His debut track, the magnificent single `Junior's Farm', stands as one of Wings' finest emotional and technical releases."
"Few people on this planet know as much about Jimmy's musical history than you."
"I'm Joe English and I'm from Glasgow, Scotland." xD
