OK. I just opened this thread because I really want to know which song from Chaos And Creation you considered the worst. It's probably my favourite Paul album (I accept 'Ram' as the 'best' and 'most creative' but this one's my favourite!).
To me the worst song is 'Friends to Go'. It's fantastic, but the worst. Vote, and name your three favourites!!

Mine are
1: RIDING TO VANITY FAIR (best song)
2: HOW KIND OF YOU (amazing)
3: THIS NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE

A quick question, and I suppose this is as good as time as any (and please don't take this the wrong way WM), but there seem to be alot of topics that focus on the 'worst'.  What's the worst song on this album, the worst this, the worst that.  I don't get it.  There are songs, albums, that I don't care for as much as others, and I'm not one of those people that think everything they did was perfect,  but there is so much emphasis on this 'worst' thing, and you said this is one of your favorite albums.  I don't know.

Well, you're right 834. It's true: there are many topics focused in the 'worst', and that's pretty sad. I didn't think about it.
Who we are to say what is 'the worst'. I should have said 'less favourite'. Or 'favourite', and we just voted for the favourite track from the album. I don't see this as a crime or much less, but is pretty terrible if we're just focused in all bad stuff.
Just because is one of my favourite albums, it's really hard to say which song is my less favourite, because there are all great, but I just picked one and wanted to know which song is the less favourite for all of you. I don't feel this as a such terrible question neither.

It was such a good album i can't really choose a bad one, but soon as you ask
i'd say Promise To You Girl. it kind of sounds out of place on the album to me.
It may have worked better on his recent one.
How Kind Of You is my fav on the album, beautifully written, aranged & put together,
and it's a very emotional song. I was gonna say 'English Tea' was the worst, but when
i listen to it, it's a pretty darn good tune!

'At The Mercey' is my worst tune on the album. Just boring.

Overall a killer album and easily a top 5 of Pauls. I still love it.

(A certain Softness isnt all that great)

Another vote for At The Mercy. Truly awful.

I just want you to reassure him - talk to him, make him see the error of his ways. Then I'll hit him.

A really great album by Paul , but when i listen to  " This Never Happend Before " i just see Heather laughing all the way to the bank . A real love is blind song ,from a besotted old fool with more money than sense.
But the album is maybe one of the best post Beatles releases for me ,along with Memory Almost Full.

This Never Happened Before is quite a great song! I love it! But lately I'm singing pretty much 'Friends to Go'.
I guess there's no weak track on this album.

I still think 'Too Much Rain' is one of Pauls best songs in the last 20 years. Dont know why, but that song really grabbed me when I heard it.

I always liked the "melody" Macca tunes, so I went w/ Jenny Wren & English Tea---they sorta remind me vaguely of the kinds of things he wrote for Peter & Gordon many, many moons ago. Vintage McCartney. Once Paul gets a decent hook in his head, nobody else can work it out better. That's always been his indisputable gift to the world.
