Hey there, i'm a professional photographer and I recently found a picture I took some time ago of the door 3 saville row, covered with grafitti by beatles fans. I'm trying to sell it as a fine art or canvas print. I was hoping some people could look at the picture and tell me what they thought of it, would big fans of the beatles be interested in it? You can view the picture here: http://www.clivephotographer.com/photo.html?photo=124
You got some nice pictures over there Clive. But then, you're a professional photographer, so you should have!
Strange that The Door was taken in the seventies and has 'Oasis' spelled on it. I think Beatles fans might be interested in it if it is authentic. (sp?)
I took the picture in 1978, so i'm pretty sure it's authentic! I was wondering about the oasis thing myself, anyone know if it has any connection to the band?
I think there was another band called oasis , a local rythm + blues band, in the picture it says: "Oasis rule rythm and blues 1978" there are several tributes to that band on the door also.
So they don't just steal their music, hehe. Pretty interesting Clive. I won't buy the picture and I'm not sure if anyone on this board will. Sorry. You might be successfull on eBay for instance. Problem is that there's a lot of Beatles related stuff on the internet, plus a lot of Beatles sites. The trick is to find the best way to sell your pictures. Anyone got an idea?

Hi Clive, and welcome!
I seem to remember a London pub rock band called Oasis, back in the mid 70's. Couldn't be absolutely sure though - old gits memory.
It's a shame the picture wasn't taken a few years earlier, you'd probably get more takers. But then I expect you know that! And as it's such a close up, it may be hard to prove that it is what you say it is. Not that I'm doubting you, but somebody might want proof, otherwise it just becomes a picture of a door. It's not a crop by any chance?
Anyway, nice photography on your site.
Cheers.
Paul.
I just want you to reassure him - talk to him, make him see the error of his ways. Then I'll hit him.
