They're all nice and all... But it can be annoying to see the same huge pictures 4 or 5 times on one page... It makes the board harder to read. I think it would be good if everyone would just remove all pictures from their signatures...

I don't want to rain on anyone's parade, but that's just my opinion and I wonder what everyone else thinks?

I switched of signatures a long time ago. It's an option in the Member Center.

I have a pretty fast broadband service, but it must be a pisser if you're on dial up! I do think it's a bit silly when the sig's are bigger than the posts.

very true.... i had problems a while ago when i still had a slow modem. it's hard to load a site with all those big pictures on it. now it's okay for me because i changed my i-net connection.... but i guess it's still pretty annoying to some members when they have to wait long for a page to load because of the signatures.

i like the pics though........

I think if they're not too big it's okay... but a signature that takes up half a page is a bit excessive

i find this topic to be a bit offensive and seperatiscle...and only merited it with a reply to open sly eyes...

Signatures are part of self expression and I think that as long as they're not out of control then they're okay. I go on and off with mine, but right now I like it so hopefully it's not annoying too many people. Otherwise, sorry!

I wasn't ordering people to remove their signatures, I just wanted to bring up the subject to see if there were more people who thought the big signatures were annoying. I like the Beatles as much an anyone else but I don't need to see the same Beatles pictures with half the size of my computer screen once in every 3-4 posts in some topics.

I didn't know I could switch of signatures in the member center, but since that's optional the discussion is closed and this topic unnecessary, for as far as I'm concerned. Problem solved.

I agree on the smaller ones, those big huge ones are scary and remind me of 2002 message boards.
