I just got a 50 quid Amazon voucher from my brother for my birthday. So I thought I'd beef up my Beatles DVD collection. Am I right in thinking these are the only official releases:

Anthology
A Hard Day's Night
First US Visit
Yellow Submarine (deleted?)

I have the first two above, so I thought I'd get the First US Visit. Can anyone recommend anything else?

If you like George's music, the Concert for George is amazing. The show, the presentation of the songs, the mood, the extras-- everything is top notch,  moving and truly inspirational. Really one of the most brilliant music DVDs ever made.

Good luck! Enjoy!

All you've got to do is choose love.  That's how I live it now.  I learned a long time ago, I can feed the birds in my garden.  I can't feed them all. -- Ringo Starr, Rolling Stone magazine, May 2007

For all I know, Ringo might be a yogi disguised as a drummer! - George Harrison

I've had that since it came out. And Bangla Desh. I was thinking more in terms of Beatles rather than solo or related.

Introducing the Beatles

Dvd with rare fottage of the beatles from hamburg days through to the mop top years

The Beatles Live at Budokan 1966

The June 30 show and the first show on July 1st were Videotaped for Nippon TV

This is a GREAT concert, the beatles by now are more than Burnt out on Touring & want to settle into the Recording Studio & start creating their next Masterpiece, "Sgt Pepper". They were nearly killed in Manila for snubbing the Marcos regime, lol. They had already dropped songs like, "I Want to Hold Your hand & She Loves You" as they had Evolved SO much from where their music was over the last two years & it was getting tougher to recreate their Rubber Soul and Revolver
music live on stage.

This show has some great songs still, and it is funny as hell to listen & watch Paul flub the backing Vocals on Nowhere Man & Laugh it off, and then George & Paul are constantly trying to follow the moving Microphone as it never stops rotating from the Creeky Stage, Lol !!

Setlist
1 - Introduction
2 - Rock and Roll Music
3 - She's a Woman
4 - If I Needed Someone
5 - Day Tripper
6 - Baby's in Black
7 - I Feel Fine
8 - Yesterday
9 - I Wanna Be Your Man
10 - Nowhere Man
11 - Paperback Writer
12 - I'm Down

The Complete Beatles

A documented account of the life and career of the Fab Four, from their early years in Liverpool to their breakup, featuring rare interview and concert footage with interviews from gerry marsden, mariane faithful, bruce johnston, george martin, tony sheridan, and many more and narrated by malcolm mcdowell

The End

Footage from the beatles focused on their breakup and private lifes

The beatles phenomenon

Explore the impact that John, Paul, George, and Ringo had on the worlds of music and pop culture in an independent review that speaks with those who knew the band best in order to truly get the big picture.

Thanks for the list. Must have taken all afternoon!! I'll look into them. I know their aren't many official releases, so it's good to have some of the unofficial stuff recommended. Some of it is dreadful. Don't worry about uploading anything. The files are way too big, and you can buy the unofficial stuff cheaply enough on Amazon Marketplace anyway.

The only movies that have been re-issued are A Hard Day's Night, and Yellow Submarine - which seems to have been deleted again.

You have to get Let It Be. I'm sure it's available somewhere. The First US Visit is awesome. I've watched it tons of times. Some unofficial ones I love are: Fun With the Fab Four (has the Pyramus and Thisbe sketch) and The Beatles Unauthorized (cool press conferences and stuff). And Lennon Legend is worth having if you love John's stuff. The bonus Imagine performance in the red leather and masks is almost worth the whole video.

The Rolling Stones Rock & Roll Circus may not be what you are looking for, but it's brilliant to see! Of course it's just John, but it's worth it.

"Reality leaves a lot to the imagination"-JL

And to be frightened of it is what sends everybody scurrying around chasing dreams, illusions, wars, peace, love, hate, all that--it's all illusion. Unknown is what it is. Accept that it's unknown and it's plain sailing. Everything is unknown--then you're ahead of the game. That's what it is. Right?”-JL
