That first pic at the top of your thread - he looks so good, is it an old pic?

probally about 68 or 69 maybe..i am not sure...i will find out tho...

Sometimes I don't see the photos, just like a red X instead. And like on the Beatles wives thread, there's jsut an advertisement form the jpg hosting site instead of the pic.

I wonder if I need to do something with my browser? I do see most of the pics.

no... buts that ok...he gets led around i heard...i do pimp him tho...i have somethings done by him.....him and the pete best four and the pete best band....no lee curtis stuff yet but soon...
when you see a red x after the page down loads right click it and push refresh...it may not have loaded right if it stays the poster fecked up....

Hi pc31, I would understand if you just want to leave it as you have, but I have to ask:

1) Does this mean you are in CONTACT with Mr. Best?
2) What do you mean he gets led around?
3) If the answer to #1 is yes, would you like your car washed, or maybe someone to do all your errands for a year, and oh by the way can you introduce me to him by any chance ?

no i emailed him several times at his site but no response.....i think he gets led around because an american girl designed the pete best site,and after it was taking off roag and a few others decided it would be better if a brit were administrator,so liz was out....after all she did too...the decsion should have been petes but he let others handle it as he does many other things...he just doesn't seem to be the hands on type guy...
i have had contact with many other beatles people but most of those were written by others..except for bill harry and artie davies(farons flamingos drummer),artie added my moondogs site to his links... http://artydrummer.bravehost.com/
but i have had more emails from bill personally than anyone else...even a few from tony sheridans wife....

The August 24 photo of Pete, taken at 1.31am was one of the colour photos taken for me by Manfred Weissleder at the Star Club in exchange for my writing for the Star Club News. This is part of the set of transparencies that disappeared after I lent then to Henri Henroid. The background is part of the Star Club stage painting of a Manhatten skyline. Around april 1962.
