Capital Albums Vol. 2. Should I bother? I have Volume 1, and was less than impressed with the sound, and the packaging. But I've seen it for a good price, and I'm a bit of a completest.

So, should I, or shouldn't I?

so then, the verdict is to wait until the Beatles albums are remastered and re-released, and to hold off on any substitutions.  Gotcha.

There are nice little differences in the mixes which are quite surprising if you're only used to hearing the UK CDs. I think it's great to hear the albums EXACTLY how they were released in the US back in the Sixties, otherwise what's the point? True, some of the mixes are really shitty - stereo versions of I Feel Fine and She's A Woman for example - but at least Capitol are staying true to the project. My advice - buy it!
