Yeah, I am now home after 6 days of Beatles and Booze!! I got home about 4:00 this afternoon and feel like mess!! It really was an excellent week though but now I need sleep and a big glass of cold milk (I've been looking forward to that for the last 3 days!!).
I see Mr Kite has posted about our meeting on Saturday - it's all lies!!! Ha ha! Yeah, OK, I admit to liking Cook Of The House! LOL
It's true, when Mr Kite phoned me, I was still in bed - MIGHTILY hungover from the night before... but I went straight downstairs (clothed!) to meet John with my equally hungover friend, Steve, in tow.
We then made our way to the Cavern Pub for a few beers. And then to The Grapes for a few beers. And then to Wetherspoons pub for.... yeah, you've guessed it! Ha ha!
John then had to catch the train back to Manchester United and I went back to bed... seriously!
But, it was absolutely GREAT meeting you mate! And we'll DEFINITELY have to do that again (maybe with less booze the night before!).
Here are a couple of pics from the weekend...
The first pic was taken on our first night - my mate and I were in the Cavern Pub when Julia, John Lennon's sister came in for a few drinks. I asked if she minded if I took her picture and she insisted I get in the photo with her - she was REALLY friendly and I even had a dance with her a few nights later!!!
This pic is of John and me after our marathon drinking session!
Johnny's sister!!!! That's really way cool! Welcome back, you lucky dog!
