Hard Day's Night, Help !, Magical Mystery Tour :
HDN 1) The "Can't Buy Me Love" field scene
Help! 2) Beatles skiing to "Ticket To Ride"
MMT 3) John & George at the strip club! (it was a toss-up between this one and the spaghetti shoveling scene, of course..) |

The Mr. Creosote scene in Monty Pythons' Meaning Of Life always reminds me of the Spaghetti scene. |

Hmm, so much to love from these movies, but off the top of my head I'd say:
AHDN: On the train-John sniffing the coke bottle, "You're a swine", & "Give us a kiss" with fluttering eyelashes! And if you look at my avatar you'll see one of my FAV scenes!
Help!: Regarding "Famous Beethoven's famous 9th symphony"-"Why didn't you think of that you twit!" Ringo crying when red paint is poured on him.
MMT: The Magicians, and of course, it's the only place you can find a video for "I am the Walrus"
I'll be back with more... Now I just want to be at home watching these instead of at work! |

More! More ! HDN : Ringo hanging out by the river w/ that kid playing hooky from school--nice scene. Help! : the Salasbury Plains scenes (near Stone Henge) when paul was doing "The Night Before" or George doing "I Need You" MMT : The Fab in white suits coming down the stairs doing "Your mother Should Know"--(like some cheesy 30's Hollywood musical, but tongue-in-cheek in The Beatles hands... ) |

lol john w/ the toy sub in HDN...OR (I just remembered this one also from HDN): When Norm comes to "fetch" John from his bath, only to find John "down the drain"....CLASSIC !! OR ..when the boys are sizing up the "director" in HDN (Victor Spinetti) and they mention Spinetti's sweater was knitted personally by his wife (or gf) and John retorts " She probably knitted him.." (always laughed at that one) (note: i'm relying TOTALLY from memory here--I havent looked at these films for years even though I have EVERY one in my dvd and vhs collection) |

Hehehe, great thread, I love Beatles-movies! So many great scenes in Help!... it's my favourite Beatles-movie, actually. My favourite scenes would be... the whole bit from the jeweller till the end of the "fight" scene where Paul un-shrinks again (so including the scientists and the You've Got To Hide Your Love Away bits), the "bathroom" scene, the "sleeping" scene ("what are you doing on the floor?" "I'm tired" ), Ticket to Ride, the curling scene, and now I'll stop before I mention the entire movie. But these are my main favourites For AHDN, my favourites are the bits on the train, the "parading" scenes and Can't Buy Me Love. MMT: Fool on the Hill!! And John's balloon scene, and the one where Ringo goes "I can't take it anymore, I'm getting off, OFF!!" and his aunt says "don't get historic" Oh yeah, and the magicians scene... anyone knows where the bus is? |
| I'd ask my friends to come and see... an Octopus's Garden with me ^___^ |

'Mr. Creosote' was definitely Terry Jones. I believe George helped back 'The Life of Brian' which nobody else seemed to want to touch. Gotta love the 'Help!' Intermission. |

I love the Buckingham Palace scene where Paul is playing catch off the wall and he's all "Caught this one hand" and then demonstrates. |
